2013 - Double the Holiday Spirit!!

This year I've doubled the experience by introducing a second light show! The two shows alternate nights, see home page for more details.

Your light display was totally awesome. My family and I enjoyed it a lot. I would love to learn about the technology side of your display. Are u a regular guy who figured this out, or do you have a masters in electronic engineering? I have to wonder what the display does to your light bill. Thank you for sharing your blessing with us. Pastor Zang.....my electric bill for the season will increase about $100....well worth the thrill I get for putting on the show. I'm a normal guy that kept saying I was going to have a big Christmas display some year but kept putting it off. Then one day I woke up and said it's this year or never and that was 4 yrs ago. Stop in sometime and I'll show you some of the details about the lightshow.

We happened by your show of lights tonight by chance. We were amazed! Really impressive work! We are planning to come back tomorrow night. Our grandson was so excited he loved them!

If you come back tonight you will be seeing a new show. In fact it will be the show designed for this year as last night it was the 2012 show......to me they never grow old.

Our family loves your light show! It is a holiday tradition for us to stop by your house every December and enjoy the music and lights! Very excited that you've added a second show this year! Making a single musical sequence for you to view may take a couple hundred hours of programing, Take that times the number of songs in the show and you can see it does not just happen over night. Add to that the fabrication of all the features and it turns into a full time hobby. Thanks for stopping by......

If you are asking how long each day my answer would be until around 10pm or a little longer.....closer to 10:30 on Fri and Sat nights. If you are asking how long our lighting season will last I would answer until the first Sat night in January cause the lights start coming down the next day.

We found your house while on our annual trip to Little Buffalo State Park, What a great display!! My son, he's 7, was in awe of how the lights changed and moved to the sounds of the music! We will be back next year!! Keep up the great work, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you!

Marv.....it takes listening to the music over and over and picking just the right time to have the lights come on or off. Believe it or not I tell the lights when to come on or off to within 5 hundredths of a second and it's all animated on my computer because the lights are in the attic when I am programming. I will be using the videos you see online to make them even more precise for next year....thanks for your comment.

Just wanted to say WOW!! LOVED your show this year and liked the 2 different shows. My family is just in awe of the shows and so enjoy them. You amaze us with your talent and the fact that you collect for a Perry county cause is just so great. It is the true meaning of the season. I have always loved lights at Christmas and yours are by far the best!! Thank you and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!! See you next year!

Thanks for your kind words. We have now collected more this year than last and we did it in just over 4 weeks were as last year it took 6 weeks. I wish everybody would read my comments so that they would see that I not only thank you but everybody that made this possible. I tell the people at church to fill the pews with people and the offering will take care of our budget. Since we have set the bar to a new high I need to get the word out for next year to line the road with people and our lights will do the rest.
